Silvia Visscher
As a child, I was already obsessed with colors and always working on creative projects. That has never really changed. I love the interaction between color, shape, and composition and seeing how they can strengthen or weaken each other.
My work is a mix of different techniques. Initially, I started by designing surface patterns, then moved on to screen printing illustrations. Nowadays, I mainly create mixed-media collages and risoprints. I use handmade paper, ink, paint, markers, chalk, and my computer. Most of the time, I start without a plan and see what emerges.
